Lindsay Souza
Regional Field Coordinator

Lindsay is currently employed at the Leadership Institute as a Campus Services Coordinator (CSC).  As a CSC she works with students in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi to advance the conservative movement and fight leftist bias on campus by creating conservative/libertarian groups and publications.

Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Lindsay credits her parents, who are small business owners, for instilling her deep commitment to conservative values.  Lindsay brought her love of politics to high school where she was an active member of the Young Republicans and a volunteer for President Bush’s re-election campaign.

In 2005, Lindsay moved to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to attend Gettysburg College.  At Gettysburg, she encountered an apathetic campus but managed to continue her commitment to the conservative cause by becoming involved with the College Republicans.

In her senior year, Lindsay and another conservative colleague were charged with re-vitalizing the college’s Women’s Center to give conservative women on campus a voice.  During this time period she worked with the Pennsylvania GOP as a Victory Intern for the McCain/Palin campaign.

She also mobilized women on campus as the Chairwoman of the Women’s Coalition.  Lindsay’s contributions to the campaign were recognized by the local chapter of the Federation of Republican Women when she was asked to be the keynote speaker at their annual banquet.

Lindsay has experienced leftist abuses on campus first hand.  After the Women’s Center sponsored Cindy McCain’s visit to campus that Lindsay organized, the liberal outrage on campus was widespread and covered by the local media.

Lindsay graduated with honors this May and is looking forward to continuing the fight for liberty at the Leadership Institute.
