Eric Slee
Director of Communications Training
Eric Slee is currently the Director of the Communications Training Department at the Leadership Institute (LI) where he assists in identifying, recruiting and training conservatives across the country.
Eric was previously a Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Mark Green of WI’s 8th Congressional District. There he was responsible for researching and responding to issues and concerns of the constituents of the 8th district on behalf of the Congressman.
Prior to working in D.C., Eric served as College Republican Chair on the campus of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, as well as the Sixth Congressional District Coordinator for the WI State CRs.
In 2006, Eric was dispatched from D.C. to Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District as part of the RNC’s Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) effort to capture the governor’s seat. While in WI, he assisted with direct voter contact activities such as door-to-door, phone banking, and yard sign placement.
Also in 2006, Eric was a committee member of the successful Christian Gossett for Winnebago County District Attorney campaign helping to secure name endorsements and garner support on his campus and in the community.
Eric also served as a Campus Coordinator for the Bush/Cheney 2004 presidential campaign. During this campaign he was deputized to register voters, helped organize door-to-door activities on campus, and volunteered for numerous phone bank activities. Also in 2004, he volunteered for another successful campaign helping WI State Assemblyman Greg Underheim win re-election.
Raised in Watertown, Wisconsin, Eric graduated from the University of Wisconisin at Oshkosh receiving a B.A. in Political Science.
