Grassroots Activist School Deputy Director

Patricia is the Deputy Director of Grassroots at the Leadership Institute. She is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and training conservative leaders and activists around the country.

Previously, Patricia was the Purchasing and Travel Control Manager for the Mitt Romney Presidential Campaign. In addition to her role in the Treasury Department, she coordinated grassroots ground operations during the Iowa Straw Poll, the Iowa Caucus, and the New Hampshire Primary.

Patricia has been involved in dozens of campaigns and many aspects of grassroots organizing around the country. During the 2004 presidential election, Patricia was field representative in Ohio, working to re-elect President Bush. Immediately after the election, Patricia relocated to Washington, DC where she recruited and managed conservative student groups in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina as a field representative for the Leadership Institute’s Campus Leadership Program.  In 2006 she was in charge of recruiting, training, and managing election-day poll challengers in three congressional districts for the Minnesota Republican Party.

In addition to campaigning, Simpson was the Grassroots Manager at a trade association that led its members on a fight against the death tax. She also helped many conservative organizations increase their contributions during her tenure at a direct mail firm.

Raised in Rome, New York, Patricia graduated from the State University of New York College at Brockport’s Delta Leadership Honors Program with a B.S. in Political Science and Communications. In her spare time, Patricia enjoys last-minute road trips, pontoon boats, and although being a native New Yorker, she is an official citizen of Red Sox Nation.
