Robert Arnakis is Senior Director of Domestic and International Programs for the Leadership Institute, the nation’s premier conservative public policy training organization. Based in Arlington, VA, The Leadership Institute has provided training to over 74,000 people since 1979.
 
Robert has worked with local, state legislative, federal and national campaigns in 44 of the 50 states. He has taught thousands of elected officials, campaign staffers, and activists. Robert routinely provides campaign training to members of the Republican National Committee, Libertarian National Party and the Constitution Party.
 
In addition to his work in the United States, Robert has also done extensive work with international delegations. Recently Robert has recently worked with delegations from Iraq, Mongolia, Serbia, Nigeria, Bolivia and Peru.
 
A veteran consultant and campaign staffer, Mr. Arnakis has worked on dozens of political races including local, state and federal campaigns. Robert’s passion for teaching and expertise in campaign strategy, fundraising, and communications have made him a highly sought after speaker and lecturer.

During the 2008 campaign cycle, Robert assisted Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign’s faith-based coalition efforts. In 2006, Robert worked for Senator George Allen’s reelection campaign as a fundraising consultant. Prior to joining Senator Allen’s campaign, Robert was the national disbursements manager on President 2004 Bush’s reelection campaign.

In addition to political campaigns, Mr. Arnakis has also oversaw training for numerous conservative public policy organizations including Americans for Prosperity, Focus on the Family, National Taxpayers Union, State Policy Network, National Right to Life, American Legislative Exchange Council and Campaign for Liberty.
 
Robert grew up in beautiful mountains of Lake Tahoe, CA.  He attended Biola University where he majored in sociology and political science. Robert enjoys traveling, snowboarding and University of North Carolina basketball. Robert and his wife, Adrian, reside in Springfield, Virginia.
