Meghann Olshefski
Director, Employment Placement Service
Meghann Olshefski is currently the Director of the Leadership Institute’s Employment Placement Service. As Director of the Institute’s Employment Placement Service she works to connect talented conservatives with work in conservative public policy using new media tools and the Leadership Institute's broad conservative network. In her sparetime, she is the Site Editor for TechRepublican.com – (a 2009 Golden Dot Award Winner for Best Blog in National Politics) where she writes about the intersection of politics and the Internet.
In November 2007, Meghann worked to revamp the Leadership Institute's Internet Activist Schools, by recruiting top conservative speakers to train conservative activists across the country to get ahead online.
Before joining the Leadership Institute in January 2007, Meghann worked as a 2006 Victory Field Director for the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee, managing all grassroots & coalitions efforts in 14 counties for one of the most hotly contested 2006 Senate races. While on the campaign trail, Meghann was part of a team that organized & executed a record breaking GOTV election effort.
In the fall of 2004, she worked under the Northeast Regional Political Director for the Bush-Cheney Re-election campaign at National Headquarters. While at Bush-Cheney 2004, she helped to organize presidential and surrogate events and tracked opposition activity & voter fraud in three battleground states: Pennsylvannia, New Hampshire & Maine. She was chair of the State University of New York at Fredonia College Republicans for 3 years and Lead Attorney for her Mock Trial team in college.
